Nicole Zaray is proud to have worked with many notable artists on numerous outstanding film and performance projects. Her film collaborations include: The Sticky Fingers of Time (1999), in which she starred with James Urbaniak, directed by Hilary Brougher, The Bridge (2001), directed by Sean Gullette, her own films Joe’s Day starring Deborah Harry (2000), and Work, Life, and The Unknowable (2002), a documentary she produced and directed. She was featured vocalist on Moby‘s albums Next is the E and Feelin’ So Real (Mute/Elektra). Her original theatre and music work: Where is She? (PS 122), The Prettiest Thing, (PS 122), Misterpiece Theater, a series at MOTHER. She has collaborated with Theodora Skipitares (Under the Knife), Everett Quinton (Polly’s Panic Attack), and Karen Finley (Memento Mori). Currently she is composing for Bread and Circus 3099 a musical sci-fi farce which she co-wrote with Jack Shamblin, opening at New York’s LaMama Annex in February 2003. Nicole also teaches writing and performance workshops in the U.S. and abroad.
