Vanessa Ague currently works in development at National Sawdust, a new music venue in Brooklyn that is dedicated to music discovery. A lifelong violinist and music lover, she has found her passion in exploring the interconnectedness of music with our ever-changing culture, especially with regards to the differing perceptions of contemporary art music and popular music in society. In addition to National Sawdust, she has worked with WQXR, the New York Philharmonic, and The International Festival of Arts and Ideas in New Haven, CT. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Yale University.
